If you're reading this and have not had much experience with crystals, I will warn you that things are about to get a little woo-woo. But just give it a shot and see if you relate to what is in this post!
Over the past few years, "healing crystals" have been talked about more and more. Most people don't really know what they are, they just see them as a pretty trend and want in on the action!
Well this trend is actually more beneficial than you may know.
Before we get into how crystals and gemstones can benefit a working woman, let's talk about what they are and how they work.
So as most of you may know, everything on this planet has a vibration. Everything is movin' and groovin' at it's own frequency. Well, crystals are doing the same! The crystals we use for healing are moving at a frequency that can enhance or match a frequency that you're currently searching for. Did I totally lose you on the woo-woo factor yet?
Crystals are basically just rocks. In fact, 12% of the earth's crust is clear quartz! This is a great stone for regulating and releasing energies. (We'll get into what that means in a bit.)
So when you get a crystal, think of it as a little rock that is vibrating in a way that sends you little messages and reminders that are straight from the earth.
Cut the woo-woo, how do they benefit me?
Okay, okay. You may think I'm absolutely off of my rocker at this point, but I promise there is some sense coming now.
Even if you do not believe in the vibrations and frequencies of the crystals themselves, they can be used as tools and reminders that can get us on the track that we're in search of.
For example, rose quartz is the stone of love. Self love, romantic love, friendships, whatever! So rose quartz is technically vibrating at a frequency that will elevate your love levels (especially in women!) Say you don't believe in the vibrations. Well, rose quartz is a great stone to keep in your pocket as a reminder to work on your love towards yourself or those around you.
Crystals don't have to be all woo-woo'd out. They can simply be used as a tool to help trigger a behavior or action that you've been meaning to work on.

What the hell do I do with these things?
Some people believe in Feng Shui for crystals. I'm not super huge on this, but I found this blog post here that goes a little more in detail for basic placement of crystals.
For me, crystal placement is based more off of intuition or sometimes even common sense. I've carried a citrine in my purse to help with finances, a rose quartz in my bra because it's close to my heart and a lapis lazuli around my neck to promote speaking my inner truth.
I've known women who will place crystals on or in their desks. A friend of mine had a selenite in her desk because it promotes harmony and peace. She said every time she opened her drawer it was like a little reminder from the universe to remain calm and at ease.
Crystals don't come with some instruction manual. It's based off of a lot of intuition and what feels right to you. Luckily, as a woman, you're chalked full of intuition. This is the perfect tool for you!

I've picked 5 stones/crystals based off of the emotions that I feel mostly when I enter my work place or have an off day. These stones are obviously not a prescription to heal whatever you are going through, just a reminder that you are not alone and can conquer anything that comes your way.
Black Tourmaline : This is a stone of grounding and cleansing. It allows you to get rooted into who you truly are and shed negativity. Most black stones also offer a protection against outside forces that may affect your overall energy.
Citrine : Such a versatile stone! There are a lot of different angles to this type, but the ones I primarily use it for are manifestations and money. This stone is an energizing stone (probably because of it's bright coloring similar to the sun).
Lepidolite : This purple stone is awesome for anxiety or stress. The stone naturally contains lithium (a main ingredient in most anti-anxiety medications). It's purple color is also very calming just to look at.
Green Aventurine : This one is known to be a heart calming stone. It clears blocked energy and has also been known to shield the heart from future negative penetration.
Blue Lace Agate : The encouragement stone! This one has been known to help communication flow. Maybe because the ripples within the stone look like a flowing sea? Hmm. It's definitely a goodie!
Crystals for me have definitely become a nice tool on my journey through mindfulness. They offer great reminders for when I'm feeling down and have definitely taught me lessons about myself throughout the process.
Whether you see the woo-woo side or not, there is definitely something that can be taken from these rocky beauties!
