Everything Always Works Out For The Best

I often find myself getting exhausted by the day-to-day stress we experience in life. I let it get to my head and I drive myself crazy. Thoughts overwhelm my mind and I struggle to see the positivity in things. Sometimes we need to remind ourselves that things will always work themselves out. That's where this quote comes into play.

If you're anything like me, then you catch yourself obsessing over silly things that happen. I overthink them completely and by the time my thought process is finished a simple problem has become an overwhelming catastrophe in my head. Oftentimes, we think so much about our problems and worries that we forget how small they really are. 

Let happiness be your main emotion.

Life is filled with so much joy. Unfortunately, this can be easily over looked when in the presence of a fear or concern. This is something I've really been trying to work on in my own personal life. Everyone deals with stress so different but the majority of people let it rule their minds. It's so important that, when stressed, we take a deep breath and remind ourselves that everything will be okay. We are all strong individuals and though it may not seem like it at the time, we will make it through any obstacle. 

Stop overthinking!

Because of overthinking and obsessing over problems, they easily get built up. Chances are your mind has taken a usually reasonable issue and snowballed it into something so insanely large. This isn't true for everyone's stresses but a lot of people can relate to me on this one. If we take a step back from the problem and just breathe, we clear our minds and allow for rational thoughts.

The universe has a funny way of throwing things at us when we're already in a bad spot. These are the times when I find myself completely overwhelmed and lose my sense of rationality. But these are the times that I need to quiet my mind and just focus on breathing.  This is so important for everyone.

Since I've been working on this, I really have noticed a difference. I can control the negative thoughts more and focus on the good in things. Even when I'm completely stressed and ready to blow up, I take a deep breath and focus on nothing but my breathing. I remind myself that some things are out of my control and there is no sense in getting upset. An unfavorable incident is not worth a bad day, ever. 

My challenge for you this week is to focus on how you deal with stress. When you find yourself getting worked up, take a deep breath and tell yourself that everything will be oaky. You know it's true, you just have to teach your mind that. I guarantee over time you will notice a difference in how you deal with day to day stress.
